The Legend of Korra - The Old Masters
OKAY. OKAAAAAAY. I didn’t think it was possible but The Legend of Korra actually made me cry. IT MADE ME CRY. From Korra’s PTSD to Katara being the awesome character she’s always been to frikkin’ TOPH. I can’t. I just can’t. It was beautiful.
Each main Legend of Korra villain represents a different political ideology.
Even the more minor villains like Varrick (who is not always necessarily a villain) and the Earth Queen represent ideologies as well: Capitalism and Monarchy, respectively.
And I’m an old lady! Imagine me in my prime. I would have destroyed you!
toph can see everything from the swamp. she sees her daughters everyday. they just dont know it
Can’t she technically bend wherever she can see? Like this?
What if they have stone floors and she moves things in their rooms just slightly- Suyin’s favorite pens go missing for weeks, then turn up back in their normal spot, there’s a painting in Lin’s apartment that is always off kilter, no matter how many times she fixes it. Very subtly driving them both crazy.
